July 2026 – New version of CPACE HCE specification released

The Version 2.0 of the document CPACE for Host Card Emulation (HCE) in a Consumer Device is now available. Please check it on the dedicated Specification webpage.

This new edition adds support for e-commerce, dynamic RSA and Temporary Master Keys for session key generation. Unused functions and Implementer Options are removed.

The certification environment is expected to be ready by the end of Q1 2027.
